About Orbital
Making Identity Security Simple
At Orbital, we believe cybersecurity shouldn’t be complicated. Protecting your organisation from cyber threats starts with securing identities - and we’re here to make that process easy, effective, and stress-free.

Who We Are
Orbital is an identity security consultancy specialising in Identity and Access Management (IAM) foundations across cloud and hybrid environments.
Based in Birmingham and working with organisations across the UK, we are an independent consultancy focused on securing the identity platforms everything else depends on.
We work closely with client teams and trusted specialists to provide support that is practical, considered, and grounded in real world experience.
Orbital was created out of a shared belief that strong identity security shouldn't be reserved for the largest organisations with the biggest budgets. Having worked across highly regulated, enterprise environments, we saw how complexity, jargon and fear-driven approaches often get in the way of clear, effective decision-making.
Our approach is deliberately different. We bring enterprise-level thinking to identity security in a way that is fair, approachable, and accessible, helping organisations of all sizes understand their current risk, strengthen their foundations, and take control of identity security with confidence.
Clear, Experience-Led Guidance
We bring deep, real-world identity experience to help you understand risk, challenge assumptions and make confident decisions, without noise or over-engineering
Consultancy First,
Not Tool-led
We don’t start with products or platforms. We focus on understanding your environment, priorities, and constraints, then guide you toward the right approach.
Human, Practical & Collaborative
We work alongside your team in a calm, open way, translating complexity, sharing knowledge, and helping you move forward at a pace that works for you.
How We Work
What Makes Orbital Different
Identity specialist, not generalist
Identity isn’t an add-on for us; it’s our core discipline. We specialise in securing the identity platforms that everything else depends on, bringing depth, context, and long-term perspective.
Indepentent and tool-agnostic
Our advice is shaped by real-world delivery experience, not vendor incentives or predefined platforms. Being independent and tool-agnostic allows us to stay objective and focused on what’s genuinely right for each organisation.
Calm, practical and human
We believe identity security should be clear, calm, practical, and confidence-building. We take the work seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously.
Flexible by design
Orbital is designed for flexibility. From structured services to fractional advisory support, we work in the way that best fits your organisation, priorities, and pace, supporting you in the way that’s most useful to you.
Clarity on Identity Risk
We give organisations clear visibility into their identity landscape, identifying risks, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement before they become issues.
Meaningful Prioritisation
We help teams prioritise the improvements that will make the greatest difference to security, resilience, and operational confidence.
Trusted Partnership
We work alongside your team, sharing knowledge and guidance that builds capability and supports better decisions today and readiness for what comes next.
